Flashback Friday

The first Flashback Friday brings us Red Hot Chili Peppers and their album from 1995, One Hot Minute. Album was released while John Frusciante, former guitarist of RHCP was in rehab after quitting the band in 1991. Frusciante wasn't all that exited about the fame and glory the band got with their previous album "BloodSugarSexMagik" and so he left the band. the That way he left free place for Dave Navarro who's also known from Jane's Addiction and probably even more known from his marriage with hot and sexy Carmen Electra. One Hot Minute was done while Anthony Kiedis was struggling to keep his drug addiction hidden from his bandmates and that affected the album as well. The album is more dark than the previous albums and it surely is darker as the albums after it. Even though the critics didn't necessarily praise the album, it sold quite well and it has some memorable songs like Aeroplane, My Friends and Warped.

Dave Navarro didn't seem to be intrested enough staying in the eyes of the rest of the Peppers and he quit RHCP in 1998. John Frusciante had gone through rehab succesfully and came back to play the guitar. Old mates were back together and ready to release their most sold album Californication.
